Handsome map of the region around Strasbourg and the Rhine River. The map is oriented with west at the top. The decorative cartouche encloses the title and distance scale and is surmounted by the coat of arms and flanked by two comely maidens bearing grapes. Fully engraved to illustrate the rivers, forests and mountains and locate hundreds of tiny villages. German text verso.
