Lovely regional map of Saxony in Germany. The area shown is centered on Eilenburg with Bad Duben at the north and Wurtzen in the south, generally following along the Mulde River. Exceptional cartouches bracket two opposing corners of this map. One is an amusing beer-themed cartouche with a young, intoxicated man riding on a keg. Above him is a woman picking hops for the beer, and below them both is another man in a group holding high his stein. The bottom cartouche features chubby putti draping banners of the towns over their accompanying crests.
