Informative map of what was the northern reach of Hungary in 1679; extending into what is now Slovakia in the north. Budapest is shown as the separate cities of Buda, Offen and Pesth, which were merged into the city of Budapest occupying both banks of the river Danube in 1873. The map shows hundreds of cities and much topographical information. The drapery-style title cartouche is backed by lances.
