Finely engraved chart of Asia including the East Indies. The Philippines and all of the East Indies are well shown. The Aleutian Islands are hinted at with an indistinct coastline east of Kamchatka labeled "Terre vue par M.rs Tchuricoiae de Delisle en S.bre 1741". Decorative cartouche (uncolored) features the wealth of the region including Persian rugs, textiles, and jewels.
