This is a very early, Ptolemaic woodcut map of Northern Africa with the area of Algeria and Tunisia. The title, Aphricae Tabula secunda continet Africam & Numidiam is on the verso with Latin text. The map is a slightly reduced version of Waldseemuller's similar map of 1513 and is a reissue of the 1535 Ptolemaic atlas edited by Michael Servetus.
