Conrad Minnert (1756-1834) was a historian and geographer who flourished from about 1788 to 1824. The original outline color on this copper plate map highlights the vicinity of Tunis as it was in the late 18th century. Part of Sicily is visible at upper right. Circular title cartouche and three distance scales.
