Uncommon map of North America, with the Rocky Mountains named as the Monts Oregon ou Rocheaux ou Columbiens. A notation of Mormonfort is located on the west side of Salt Lake, and California is named across a large swath of the Southwest. The map is colored with the current northern border, but the engraved border line shows the United States claim to 54° 40' N, indicating that the map was issued shortly after this boundary was agreed to in 1846. An interesting transitional map, surrounded with a keyboard style border.
