This is a fascinating and colorful map that gives an idea of how people planned their holidays in 1912. It covers the region from Long Island and New York City north to Maine and into New Brunswick, and westward to Montreal and Sarasota Springs in the Catskill Mountains. The region is literally covered by railroads graphically shown in red overprinting with each station noted and named. Large inset contains a map titled, "American Switzerland as reached by the Boston & Maine R.R."
