Handsome map of the American South and the Mississippi River Valley extending from Charleston, South Carolina west to include New Orleans and north well into Illinois. It provides good detail on the course of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. Florida is shown with its panhandle reaching west to include Mobile and Biloxi. A small inset provides details of the Missouri River.

Generally good with one spot of foxing near Cape Canaveral. Margin trimmed at top left binding side, still sufficient for framing.
