An unusual world map showing California as an island and a rudimentary form of Australia. Tucked into the cusps of the double hemisphere map is a very inventive depiction of the earth, as it would be seen from space. At bottom are allegorical female representations of the four continents with their animal escorts. Engraved by Gerrit Drogenham.
