This colorful and boldly engraved map has remarkable detail. A scale of .4 mile per inch permits the locating and naming of all streets. Red overprinting is used to delineate underground and elevated railroads. This advertising map features a large and well rendered view of the F. Wesel Mfg. Co. that has in the foreground wagons, carriages, plus a horseless car and horseless truck! The map is also overprinted in red to show the address and convenient location of the Wesel plant in nearby Brooklyn. This is a handsome map is a fine example of Rand, McNally using their maps for advertising. We find no reference to this scarce ephemeral advertising map.
