This handsome map of Baja California and the American Southwest reflects the recent explorations of the Jesuits. Among places named are Casa Grande and San Xavier de Bac in the Southwest and along the Pacific are San Diego, Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas. Numerous, oversized islands are shown along both coasts of the Baja.
