Nice collection of maps of the continent. The lot includes:

1) South America, 1796, John Wilkes, London, B/W, 7.3" x 9".
2) South America, circa 1830, Orr & Co, London, 8" x 10". Fine outline coloring and very detailed. Mountain and volcano elevations along bottom.
3) Amerique Meridionale Dressee, circa 1845, N. Lorrain Pere, Paris, 10.7" x 14.7". Fancy titling, decorative border and four distance scales. Outline coloring.
4) Amerique Meridionale, jusq'a nos jours…, circa 1840, Antoine Philippe Houze, Paris, 8.5" x 10.6". Descriptive text below describes each region/country with hand coloring to match map.
5) Amerique du Sud, circa 1840, Adolplhe Hippolyte Dufour, Paris, 9.3" x 15". Fine full hand coloring, nice border and long table of statistics.
6) Amerique Meridionale, circa 1842, Furne imprint without Cie, Paris, 13.3" x 17". Very nice full hand coloring, keyboard-style border.
7) South America, circa 1840, Edward Weller, London, 9" x 12.2". Very nice hand coloring.
8) South America, circa 1855, Archibald Fullarton & Co., London, 15" x 19.3". Very finely detailed with delicate wash coloring.
