Two nice maps of the northern part of South America. The first map is roughly centered on Lago de Maracaibo and Punta Fijo and includes portions of Colombia and Venezuela. Decorated with a simple floral cartouche. The second map describes the northeastern part of Venezuela, including the islands of Margarita, Trinidad, and the Grenadines. The locations of numerous settlements along the Venezuelan coast are noted, including Valencia, Caracas and Cumana. The map includes a number of geographical notes and a nice title cartouche.
