An interesting chart of the bay at Salvador (Bahia) that includes an inset plan of the fortified city of San Salvador. The bay is filled with soundings and the positions of sugar mills and plantations are noted around the bay and along the rivers. A large decorative cartouche and compass roses complete the map.
