This fanciful view of Mount Teide on the island of Tenerife was originated by Montanus. At 3717 meters above sea level, it is the highest mountain in the Atlantic, and the third largest volcano on earth. It was an important landmark for sailors. This view is very rare as there were only 100 copies of La Galerie Agreable du Monde printed.
