This is an attractive reduced version of Christopher Saxton's map of Cornwall, which was the first map of the county. It is lavishly decorated with a strapwork title cartouche and an inset of Launceston castle, the Royal Arms, a sailing ship and a sea-monster. Latin text on verso.
