This interesting and uncommon map shows the biblical lands as they were divided among the sons of Noah, via the genealogical table to the left of map. The map is focused on the western Mediterranean, showing only that part of the world known in ancient times. An inset shows a 'modern' map of the Eastern Hemisphere. Published by Delamarche, with his imprint at the bottom left.

Lovely impression. A few extremely light marginal stains, well away from map. Small tear in upper blank margin repaired on verso with archival tape.
