This highly decorative and very attractive map of the vicinity Oldenburg and Bremen shows the Jadebusen and the estuary of the Weser. The map is orientated to the right with a nice compass rose, two cartouches, two distance scales and a coat of arms. The text on verso is in English. This nice example is uncolored as issued.

A very dark impression with the characteristic offsetting sometimes seen on these early, heavy impressions. On fine hand laid paper with very wide margins. Minor damp staining and one spot in margins not affecting image.
