Very detailed map of this fortified peninsula with all buildings, barracks, roads and batteries noted. The map is inset with a detail of the Bay of Gibraltar. Two compass roses complete the handsome composition. A great, detailed look at one of the most powerful points of land in the history of the world. Accompanied by the original issue of Gentleman's Magazine, March 1762.
