Great map of the Mediterranean islands; the major map of Crete and three smaller maps of Corsica, Islands in the Ionian Sea, and Sardinia. Ortelius compiled the map from both classical and contemporary sources. Strapwork cartouches, a ship and sea monsters ornament the map. Latin text on verso.
