Attractive copper engraved map of the Guinea coast including Guinea, Benin, and Congo. Nicely detailed and decorated with a title cartouche that credits the information as being from Gerard Mercator and Samuel Blomaart, an African trader and a West Indies Company director. Engraved by Antoine d' Winter for a scarce pirated edition of Sanson's pocket atlas.
