Dutch edition, engraved by J. van Schley, of Bellin's map of the western coast of Africa. The map extends from Sierra Leone to Benguela, and provides a wealth of information along the coastline. It identifies the Grain, Ivory, Gold and Slave Coasts. The large title cartouche features an ocean scene including Neptune.
