Fine group of copper engravings from the Old Testament drawn by Picart and G. Hoet and published by Pierre de Hondt. Captions in Hebrew, Greek, English, French, German, Dutch.

1) Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2) Genesis 8:20 - Noah offered burnt offerings on an altar to the Lord.
3) Genesis 12:4 and 5 - Abraham & Lot depart out of Haran.
4) Genesis 14:14 through 16 - Abram rescueth Lot, the women and Goods.
5) Genesis 17:23 - Abraham took Ismael with all the males born in his house and circumcised ym.
6) Genesis 32:24 - Jacob wrestleth with an Angel.
7) Genesis 31:44 to 54 - Laban & Jacob make a covenant together.
8) Jeremiah 1 - The rod of an almond tree seen by Jeremiah.
