This is the third state of one of the earliest maps of Tennessee published in America. Originally issued in 1796, this state was updated with important roads reflecting the rapid settlement throughout the young state -- the country's western frontier at the beginning of the nineteenth century.

Condition: B

Lightly toned with a narrow bottom margin; trimmed to neatline, probably by a binder. Tissue repair on bottom centerfold.
