Topography is shown via hachure. Filled with place names including towns, forts, and Indian regions. Title is in a medallion-style cartouche at upper left.
2) Map of Oregon & Upper California, anonymous, circa 1849, uncolored, 4.6" x 7.5". This small map is after the Fremont /Preuss map of nearly the same title (Wheat 559). The newly discovered Gold Region in California is depicted as a large region west of the Sierra Nevada range.
