A deftly engraved map of Ireland, showing the island just a few years before the Great Famine (1845-1848) with detail of the four provinces of Ulster, Connaught, Leinster and Munster as well as counties, cities and towns. The map is adorned with a calligraphic title and surrounded by delicately engraved border.

Sharp impression and original, outline color. The map has a few faint stains, mostly confined to the margins.
