This is a delicately engraved map of Ireland showing excellent detail of the provinces, towns and cities as well as topography. The map is surrounded by lovely vignettes of St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, Limerick Castle, one of Ireland's Holy Wells, Ross Castle on the Lake of Killarney, and the Round Tower in Wicklow. The map is surrounded with a charming border comprised of shamrocks, with a harp entwined in shamrocks in the bottom border.

Nice impression with original outline color. There are a couple of light spots, otherwise the map is very good.
