Lovely, small map of the Hainault region in Belgium The map is roughly focused on St-Ghislain, and is bordered by the Scheldt River to the left of the map and Chimay in the bottom. Jacob Aertsz Colom was the founder of the Colom publishing company. He founded the Navigation School in Amsterdam, and published a number of fine sea charts, coasting pilots and this small atlas of Belgium and The Netherlands. This little map is from Colom's only land atlas.

Nice impression and attractive color. The map is fine, while the margins have some irregular toning and trimming of the right corners, well away from the image.
