A distinctive woodblock map presented on a trapezoidal projection. The interior is filled with rope-like mountain ranges, river systems and tiny trees to indicate forests. The Latin text and title on the verso is flanked by ornate woodblock designs, presumably the work of Hans Holbein the Younger.

Sharp impression and wide original margins. The map is foxed and has some worming and mildew on the centerfold. Though sound, it would benefit from cleaning.
