Very uncommon, early folding map of Prague with a detailed key of the town to the left. The title translates, "Ground Plan of the Imperial and Royal Capital of Prag in the Kingdom of Bohemia." The decorative key lists churches, monasteries and other locations in areas of Old Town, New Town and Hradschin as well as surrounding fields, roads and the Moldau River. Attribution in the lower portion of the key to Schonfeldischen Officin. Dissected, linen backed and folded into marbled-paper covered boards.

The map is detached from the boards, and it has foxing, marginal loss and separations at the folds. Still a nice map deserving of simple conservation and repair.
