First state of this richly decorative map of the eastern part of the Mediterranean. The map has vignettes at the top and bottom showing episodes from the book of Acts detailing the life of the Apostle Paul. A tiny ship in the Mediterranean traces his journey from Judea to Rome. Dutch text on verso.
