Lovely little view of the Dardanelles, formerly called the Hellespont, a narrow strait connecting the Aegean Sea and the Sea of Marmora. The ancient city of Troy was located near the western entrance of the strait, and it is a strategic port that separates Europe from Asia. The important points are noted on a 16-point key below.
