This is an uncommon map covering central and northern Asia. Korea is shown as an island and a huge Terre de Iesso is depicted across a narrow straight from the legendary lands of Gog and Magog. The map is fully engraved with mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, cities, the Great Wall of China and embellished with a decorative title cartouche.

Original outline color. Narrow margins at the left and right as issued, still sufficient for framing. One small repair in the lower left margin.
