Beautiful and dramatic group of lithographs of the Rhopalocera family of butterflies from F. Berge's striking Schmetterlings-Buch [butterfly book]. Each plate is filled with a bouquet of flowers festooned with colorful butterflies, caterpillars and chrysalides. All of the plates are numbered and the lovely little beasts are lettered and numbered for identification. The related German text is included.
