This is the second state of this attractive, copper engraved map that shows St. Lawrence Bay with Anticosti Island, Prince Edward Island ( I. St Jean ), Cape Breton Island (Isle Royale), and Newfoundland with the adjacent mainland. A decorative rococo-style cartouche and full, vibrant color make this a very desirable map. Published by Jean Francis de La Harpe.

Very crisp impression on bright paper. A small spot just inside image in top left corner. Full, original margins, and nice original color.
