This handsome, copper engraved map is presented as a scroll. It is from Zatta's Italian version of Raynal's History of North America. The map shows the island divided into 18 precincts. It is filled with place names, mountains, rivers and roads. A large compass rose and scale of Italian miles adorn.

Fine impression on a large sheet with wide margins and a crescent moon watermark. Very scattered and light foxing.
