Double-page copper engraved chart illustrates the northernmost islands of the chain; the Virgin Islands, Anguilla, St. Martin, St. Barthelemy, St. Kitts, and more. It is interesting to note the names that have changed over the years. The map is embellished with a rococo-style title cartouche, rhumb lines, compass rose and fleur-de-lys.

Condition: B

On a thick sheet of hand laid paper with watermark and very wide margins. Some light foxing in map and a little more in upper margin.
