This beautifully rendered map shows the southern part of Brazil and Argentina, with part of the Strait of Magellan. A decorative landscape title cartouche nearly equals the size of the map, and shows natives engaged in battle and cannibals preparing their victory feast. The map has a lovely compass rose and two distance scales.
