This beautifully rendered, copper engraved plan of the fortified city includes a numbered key to important features. The fortified town is boldly shown with its Chateau at the northeast. Additional fortifications are shown along the coast. There is a simple fleur-de-Lys and three guard dogs are keeping watch towards the western sea. Interestingly, this engraving has a slightly animated feel, particularly in the vegetation.

A couple small spots and minor soiling in margins, not affecting image. Toned at edges, and on verso. A very good copy.
