Fascinating map of Sri Lanka, the tip of India and an interesting depiction of the atolls of the Maldives. The map in inset with a detailed map of Sri Lanka filled with place names and noting mountainous topography. Decorated with a delicate compass rose and a strapwork title cartouche.

Sturdy paper with lovely coloring. A later impression of the plate with rounding of the lower corners evident.
