Striking little map of the Nile Delta with two groups of pyramids noted, one group near Cairo (Barbarei Pyramidis) and the other near the Valley of the Kings (Exidese Piramide). A lengthy history of the pyramids is enclosed in a decorative cartouche on the left. The Mediterranean and Red seas are stipple-engraved with calligraphic titling. Latin text on verso.
