Scarce and large chart maps the then-known areas of Australia. The interior is somewhat blank, but a surprising level of geographical knowledge is evident in the eastern half of the continent. There is an extensive list of explorers with their dates and areas explored. Inset of Van Diemen's Land is included. Drawn by A.H. Burkitt, published by Sampson, Low, Son & Marston, and lithographed by Vincent Brooks.
