This appears to be the second volume of two from this rarely seen book on contemporary explorations. It includes ten sections giving the account of ten voyages, including Cook's third and final voyage, the largest part at 250 pages. Filled with engravings, views and maps: a quick count found 48, with fourteen in the Cook section alone. Each account has it's own title page and include the following (titles summarized):
Carteret's Voyage Around the World; Commodore Anson's Voyage Around the World in HMS Centurion; Drake's New, Authentic and Complete Account of a Voyage; Capt. Cook's Third and Last Voyage to the Pacific;. Travels of James Bruce into Abyssinia; William Hodges' Travels in India; Lieut. William Patterson's Travels in Africa; Monsieur Niebuhr's Travels and Occasional Voyages to Egypt and Arabia; Brissot de Warville's Travels in the United States of America in 1788; Lord McCarthney's Voyages & Travels in China; and the history and travels of Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Genoa, Venice, Rome, etc by the Lady Wallace, Dr. Moore, and C. Este. Published by Alexander Hogg.
