This is a complete set of this terrific and highly collectible magazine. The Map Collector magazine was founded by Ronald Vere Tooley in 1977. Over the next two decades, it built a reputation as a highly respected resource on the history of cartography and collecting antique maps. Each issue contains a wealth of information written by the most respected researchers, collectors and dealers. This lot includes volumes 1-74, spanning December 1977 to Spring 1996. It also includes all the annual Indexes to Issues (21-31 and 61-70 in photocopy; the others in original form).
