1) Poates Radio Map of the United States and Canada has the stations and their owners, wavelengths and kilocycles listed in the margins. There is a "distance finder" in the top margin that is meant to be cut out. Folds into the original pictorial wrappers showing a family around an old radio and an advertisement for Poates' "Atlas of the World" on the rear. NY, L.L. Poates Pub. Co., Inc., 1924. (32.8 x 27" folding into 4.5 x 9.5"). Map has several fold intersection splits, and is lightly toned. Covers are split along centerfold. Grade B.
2) RCA Short Wave World Wide Radio is a colorful, folding map that has a call letter index, a kilocycle index and several insets with tips and charts related to radios. A charming compass rose features a radio tube in the center. On verso is an interesting series of short write ups on radio stations in various countries complete with scenes from around the world. Published by RCA Cunningham Radiotron, 1933. Printed by the Hagstrom Company. (25.5 x 17.8" folding into 4.5 x 9.5"). A couple intersectional fold splits with minor loss. Grade B+.
