Uncommon map of the South and the Mississippi and Ohio river valleys based on Bonne. The map extends from Charleston, South Carolina west to include New Orleans and north well into Illinois, with good detail on the course of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers. Florida is shown with its panhandle extending to the west to include Mobile and Biloxi. The map indicates towns, forts, Indian villages and tribal territory. Inset with a small map of the Missouri River and its tributaries. Decorated with a bold block-style title cartouche.
