Large map is compiled from the official records of the General Land Office and other sources. Legend locates land offices, county seats, subdivided townships, railroad stations, Indian reservations, etc. A broad band across the map marks the ten and twenty mile limits of the land grants extended to help finance the Kansas Pacific Railroad.
