This first edition of the congressional report contains the Texas State Constitution preceded by communications from President James K. Polk and Anson Jones of Austin. A joint resolution passed the House by a vote of 141 to 56 and in the Senate, by 32 to 14 and was signed by the President, December 29, 1845. Rebound in thin hard covers with a blue cloth spine.
