Mexico City is situated on a large lake below the elaborate title cartouche that features the Royal Spanish Arms. Several silver mines are located in the central region, as Argenti minerae. Lovely impression on a strong sheet with wide original margins. There is a suggestion of toning and one tiny rust spot in the upper margin, not affecting the map.
